Commercial Sealcoating

Why Sealcoat Your Commercial Parking Lot?

The parking lot to your business is an important first impression. Although most customers won’t notice a worn parking lot, they will notice a nicely sealcoated and freshly lined parking lot. This makes your business look professional and welcoming.

Unsealed asphalt surfaces break down and deteriorate. Asphalt left unprotected will begin to fade and crack and then ultimately weaken and fail. Once cracks form and widen, water that penetrates through to the base will cause erosion and pot holes. Besides water, other elements such as sunlight, oil or gasoline leaks will cause damage to your parking lot. Installing an entirely new parking lot is a major expense.

Sealcoating, or pavement sealing, is the process of applying a protective coating to asphalt-based pavements to provide a layer of protection from the elements: water, oils, and U.V. damage and harmful chemicals like antifreeze and salt. Depending on the weather conditions, it should be done every 3 to 5 years. By maintaining your driveway on a regular maintenance schedule, you can extend the functional life of the surface.

We have standardized on Crafco® Action Pave RT – a refined coal tar sealer with proven resistance against water, sun, salt and chemicals. It goes on easily, dries fast and cleans up with water. With a rich, black finish and outstanding durability, Action Pave RT offers both a beautiful appearance and reliable protection.

  • Extends asphalt pavement life
  • Provides a new, rich black finish
  • Is fast drying and curing

In addition, we also use Crafco® high performance fillers for crack filling. Crack filling is a very cost-effective method of pavement repair that will add years to its life.
